About Us

Class of 2018

Hello! We are Elon University’s Physician Assistant Class of 2018. We are very excited to be the fourth class of this amazing program and will work hard to meet the high expectations set by the previous classes. There are 38 of us and we are from all over the United States including Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Illinois, Tennessee, Florida, New York, South Carolina, and our very own North Carolina. And we can’t forget our students who traveled the farthest and are from Taiwan and South Africa. Our backgrounds are as varied as our home states (and countries). We have students that worked as certified nursing assistants, pharmacist technicians, Phlebotomists, optometrist assistants, dental assistants, and more. While we come from varied backgrounds we are all united in a desire to become successful physician assistants. We are all grateful for the chance to be here at Elon and in this fantastic program.

So come join us as we embark on this epic journey that is PA school!

Class of 2017

Hello there! We are Elon University’s Physician Assistant Class of 2017. We are 38 students from across the country in various stages of our lives. In our first year we celebrated engagements, weddings, and we even have two children in our class who weren’t here when the program started. We are now in the Clinical Phase of the program, cycling through six core and two elective rotations in clinical practice. Our core rotations are six weeks each and include Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Psychiatry, Inpatient Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Surgery. Our didactic year and Elon’s faculty have prepared us well to enter this next phase of training.

Follow my posts to see where the clinical phase takes us!
