If I had one piece of advice about clinical year, it would be to make sure you find time to see your classmates. It can be an adjustment going from seeing them everyday during didactic year to only seeing them on EOR exam days and call back weeks during clinical year. Find time to grab dinner or a cup of coffee and catch up about your rotations and life in general. Even if you’re only able to see each other one time during a rotation, it makes such a difference, especially during stressful times when you just need a hug. Yes, you are working hard to get the most out of each rotation, but you need to make time for some fun too! You’ll be glad you did!
