Those who enter PA school expect the worst academic workload of their lives. This mindset is comparable to the actual workload. Eventually through the program classmates will have experienced laughter, joy, frustration, doubt, and maybe even cried together. It is important for everyone in the class to get the mindset of collaboration and picking each other up in the hard times. By leaning on each other you can overcome the daunting 2-3 tests in one week with paper assignments. One suggestion is to remember to have a life and pick a day of the week where you do what is important to you. Also talk to your second year mentor for any advice or what to expect in the future, as we are here to help you. Overall remember not to beat yourself up, but recall stressing to get into school and that each day is a step closer to your goal!
